The ESPCR has established two types of awards:

H.S. Raper Medal

The Henry Stanley Raper Medal

The Henry Stanley Raper Medal

The H.S. Raper Medal "is an Award selected by the ESPCR as an international recognition of outstanding contributions to the biochemistry of pigmentation". The H.S. Raper Medal is awarded at the International Pigment Cell Conferences (IPCC). Previous H.S. Raper Medalists are listed here and in the IFPCS web site for list of previous awardees.

The Fritz Anders Medal

The Fritz Anders Lecture was established by the ESPCR in remembrance of the prestigious German scientist, Fritz Anders (Berlin, 1919-Giessen, 1999), Professor of Genetics at the University of Giessen, who pioneered studies of genetics of melanoma using fish animal models.
