The ESPCR 2010 meeting in Hinxton
Wednesday, September 8th, 2010The XVIth ESPCR Meeting (ESPCR 2010) is over. Robert Kelsh (Chair), Dot Bennett and Colin Goding must be praised for ensembling a terrific meeting, full of most interesting talks and lively discussions, at the facilities of the Wellcome-Trust Conference Centre in Hinxton-Cambridge, UK. Up to 180 delegates gathered this time, mostly from Europe, but also from USA, Australia, Japan and Korea.
Next year it will be the turn of the International Pigment Cell Conference (IPCC), (IPCC 2011), that will be organized by Alain Taïeb, in Bordeaux (France), September 21-24, 2011. Put a mark in your agenda for this forthcoming meeting. We hope to seeing you all again in Bordeaux!.

7th melanoma meeting, Nice, France, June 16-18, 2010
Sunday, March 28th, 2010The 7th Melanoma Meeting, entitled “Emerging Concepts in Melanoma Biology. Pave the Road to New Therapies” will be held in Nice, France, on June 16-18, 2010.
This meeting is organized by Corine BERTOLOTTO, INSERM U895, Nice; Véronique DELMAS, Institut Curie, Orsay; Robert BALLOTTI, INSERM U895, Nice; Lionel LARUE, Institut Curie, Orsay; Jean-Paul ORTONNE, CHU, Nice; Alain SARASIN, IGR, Villejuif and the meeting pre-program includes, in addition, as invited speakers: Colin GODING, Friedrich BEERMANN, Alain MUAVIEL, Dot BENNETT, Marisol SOENGAS, Daniel PEEPER, Bernard WEHRLE-HALLER, Nathalie LABARRIERE, Richard MARAIS, Caroline ROBERT, Owen SANSOM, Luisa LANFRANCONE, Irwin DAVIDSON, Eirikur STEIMGRIMSSON, Eric GILSON, Marie-Dominique GALIBERT and Keith HOEK.

2010 ESPCR Registration Awards for the 16th ESPCR annual meeting

Following a well established tradition, The European Society for Pigment Cell Research will provide SEVEN REGISTRATION AWARDS for attendance at XVI ESPCR meeting to be held at Hinxton-Cambridge (United Kingdom), on September 4-7, 2010. Awards will cover exclusively conference registration and accommodation costs (in twin bed rooms), according to the ESPCR 2010 meeting web site. Applicants, typically PhD student or junior scientists, may obtain full details at the ESPCR web site. Awards will be made by the ESPCR Registration Awards Committee on a competitive basis.

4th National Congress of SOMADEC-Melasma Course
Monday, February 1st, 2010The Fourth Congress of the Moroccan Society of Aesthetic and Surgical Dermatology (SOMADEC) will be held in Rabat on May 7-8 th 2010 including plenary lectures, courses, round tables and workshops.
As in the past year, the entire first day will be devoted to a training Course of Pigmentology. For this next meeting the topic choosen will be: “The Melasma management in daily practice” which is, as you know, a challenging problem for the dermatologists. During the second Day, the most recent developments in: “The use of Lasers, fillers and botulinium toxin ” will be presented by experts and discussed.
We hope to see you numerous in Rabat in May 2010. We will try to make that this meeting will be beneficial for all the dermatologists attending, both in the field of scientific knowledges and in the field of the daily practice, in a socially and culturally most stimulating environment.
